I was hoping someone could help me with this. I am scanning a Garnet device to find every chunk of executable code. Once I find a CODE 1 resource, I get the index for it, then use a memHandle to lock the chunk and get a MemPtr to the data. This is where I need help. I need to find a fast way to take that MemPtr and view its data. I need to do a string compare with the data found and virus defs in a seperate file (which I will most likely have loaded into a database, I havent coded that part yet). I cant figure out a way to take that locked MemPtr and view its data in a fashion that will allow me to do a string compare. Anyone have any ideas that will help me move in the right direction??? Thanks ahead of time for any help.
