In fact, the appData field of the structure pointed by the exgSocket pointer is zero already in the function ReceiveDatabase - immediately after doing
err = ExgAccept (exgSocket); I truly don't understand what might be the problem. :-( Why isn't the value of that field preserved?! BTW, in case it is not clear from the above code, GetCreatorID (used in Beam Database) is a function that returns the creator ID of the currently running application; the value it returs is correct.
