Tony,

It makes sense to use the same creator ID for databases and applications so
they all get deleted at once.

For multiple application it would only make sense when they are interlinked,
so if one won't work without the other then you could do it.

Chris

Chris-

Thanks, that worked. But I pose the question, does it make any sense to
group applications by the creator ID? Thanks again for the help!

Tony,

Items are clumped together by Creator ID, so if you have 3 programs and 5
databases then they will show up as one item in 'delete'

Best to use separate creator ID's for the programs.

Subject: multiple applications

I am writing 2 separate applications for the Palm. The problem I am having
is that they are interacting with each other. For example, when I go into
the list of applications I would like to delete, only 1 app shows up on
there. If I delete that one app, it deletes both of my applications. What
is the distinguishing characteristic of these apps? I thought it may be the
database they create and use, but I changed them to unique names and I still
have the problem. It isn't the creator ID is it? please help.

thanks,

~Tony
