Anything that allows existing projects to be ported without having to re-enter all the symbolic constants in the code is a great idea. I have a project with 120+ forms and 70+ alerts I'm moving away from Constructor - checking that all the constants have been renamed consistently (and then editing all the references to them in the source) is a job I wouldn't wish on anyone.
