Another question about the 5-way navigation. A an alert can have an "information" (help) string associated with it. Alerts that have such help available contain a small "i" in circle in the upper right corner (on the title bar) - and tapping on the "i" results in displaying a "Tips" dialog with the help string inside.
Question: can this "tap the 'i'" be done with the 5-way control? (I couldn't figure out how to do it with the simulator - and I don't have a real device that supports this kind of interface.) Or is it something the user must tap on the screen, in order to achieve it?
