We get the above error message on the device (VFSDBCache.c,Line:4051,unattached record) when trying to sync a Tungsten E2 with Lotus Notes. We looked the error message up on the net and understand the the error is associated with the Palm OS 5.4.1. That is the OS we have on our Palm. We looked for OS upgrades and also a patch that would fix the issue. We did not find anything. Are you aware of any issues with Palm OS 5.4.1 ( related to our error message)? Do you have any workarounds?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help in advance.
Actually, the Tungsten E2 runs Palm OS 5.4.7 and uses NVFS. This is a known problem with some synchronizations. It occurs if you try to delete an already deleted record. Are you using your own sync code, or do you have a tool like Intellisync? You might check to see if there is an update to the conduit.
