In a few sections of my app, I need to give the user the ability to open a set URL. I was woundering if there is a way to launch the default web browser from an app? The URL will be hardcoded, and it will be invoked from a menu item. I was thinking of doing some kind of SysAppSwitch() but I would need to know the info about the devices defualt web browser for that. Is there a way to get the values needed to do a AppSwitch for the defualt browser?
Did you check kb.palmsource.com for an article on this exactly topic before posting here? Something called "Web Browser Manager", perhaps?
