With all due respect, it is up to the designer of the application (and not up to you) to decide what s/he needs. In particular, the Home button not only terminates the current application but also switches to the defined application launcher - or to whatever else this button has been defined to do. In some cases this might not be what the programmer wants when the Exit button of the application is tapped. Tapping the Home button is *not* the same as simply exiting the application.
