Hello everyone, I'm having a difficult problem maintaining bitmap transparency in offscreen windows. I'm copying bitmaps with transparency to an offscreen window and then when I want to display the images to the main window, I use a WinCopyRectangle(WinPaint) to copy the images from the offscreen to the main window.
The problem is with the transparency. I'm currently using the color (R:255, G:0, B:255) for transparency in my bitmaps. So, when I copy these bitmaps to the offscreen window, everything is drawn except for the transparent color (as expected). However, when I go to copy from the offscreen window, the transparent color is no longer there (because it wasn't copied in the original bitmap image). So, when I do a WinCopyRectangle to the main window, I no longer have any transparency information. I know that I must be doing something wrong. Can someone please shed some light on this problem? Bascially, I just want to copy an image from an offscreen to main window and maintain transparency. Thanks!! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
