Hi, I wish to test a socket based application on the simulator 5.2. After going through the “Testing with Simulator” document, I learnt that I need to do the following- 1) In Simulator, select the Settings>Communication>Redirect NetLib Calls to Host TCP/IP. 2) In simulator, Select Settings>Communication>Communication ports to bind the 68K debugger transport to localhost:2000 3) In CW, select Edit>Preferences->PalmDebugger Settings and select the check box for “Use TCP/IP connection to emulator”.
I have followed the steps 1 and 2. But the check box option for Step 3 does not appear in my CW IDE ver 9.3 preferences. So when I call the NetLibSocketOpen, it fails and returns netErrNoMoreSockets. Can somebody tell me what I am missing? Is there some alternative for step 3? Thanks in advance.
