To debug on the device, you need to put it in console mode. The best way to
do this is with the DotDotTwo.prc. If the device isn't in console mode, it
can not make a connection with the debugger.

I am trying to get the Palm Debugger to work and I can get it to work
on the simulator but the simulator crashes for some reasons while
running my program but on the handheld itself it doesn't. I have tried
connecting to my handheld through the debbugger but it replies with
"failed to connect to target using the 68k palm os debug kernel
protocol plugin protocol. Check protocol and communications
preferences, cable, and target hardware, and try again." I am trying
to connect to a Sony Peg-Tg50/u running palm os 5 through usb. I am
wondering is do I have it on the wrong settings or does it just no
work on this type of handheld. I tried the following the steps in the
debugger documentation but like I said I can't get it to work.

Sincerely,
Landon Cunningham
