Tim,

In my experience the Simulator doesn't always correctly simulate the palm
correctly. I'd try installing you application on a device running OS 5.x
and see what happens.

Subject: Problem with dialog drawing incorrectly

Hello All,

I am using POL and have a modal dialog (derived from CModalForm) that gives
me trouble after it redraws portions of the screen, it draws the items
relative to 0,0 instead of where my dialog starts at 2,2. The initial
drawing works fine, and if it has to redraw the whole form it works fine. An
example of an action that makes it draw incorrectly is tapping and dragging
to highlight a text field. Once done highlighting, the field is
mis-positioned.

Of course, if I position my dialog at 0,0 it works fine, but then my dialog
border is not displayed correctly. Has anyone else seen this problem or have
some idea of what else I should check? There are other dialogs in the app
that work just fine and I see no obvious differences between them. Any help
would be appreciated.

I am using the simulator with 5.2 ROMs (both debug and release). Also, the
problem doesn't occur if I use low density, it also works fine on the 6.1
simulator in high density.

Thanks,

Tim Faust
