Has anyone tried porting the Independent JPEG Group's library to

I need to get it under 6 seconds. Got any ideas?

I have load times around 10 seconds with exceedingly large images on my
T|T3 using a port by Matthew Fleming. He's done a bloody good job and
my freeware JPEGView application was quite popular. You can find old
