I am developing for the Palm using PRC tools on Mac OS X, and have found good solutions for everything except the GUI development. I am interested in your suggestions.

I am using PilRC but would like to use a GUI application to make all or most of the rcp file rather than edit the text directly.

I tried PilrcEdit, and it seems to work the best, although I had trouble with bitmaps, errors reading valid rcp files, and creating new forms. There seems to be no active development.

I tried Palmbuilder, but was unable to get it to work at all.

I have tried to compile Guikachu, but am unable to get all the dependent files to be present or compile. Is there a pre-compiled binary?

Any suggestions of other alternatives or ways to get one of the above to work would be appreciated.

You could use Constructor from the Palm OS SDK to edit a resource-bearing PRC file directly, and then use the buildprc tool in the latest versions of prc-tools to merge the resource-only PRC file with your output PRC file.
