I'll try to clarify OS versions with my crashing person... But I'm not sure what I really need to do. You seem to be suggesting that it *should* still work fine as is... on newer OS versions at least. So if I can confirm that the crashes are early versions of the OS, an upgrade is what I'll recommend to get past crashes???
That's my recommendation. It's certainly possible for it to crash in the older NVFS code when the DBCache gets full. I think you'll have to suggest using the VFS volume as a workaround for people on devices that haven't been updates. The best NVFS code right now is the LifeDrive and the Sprint Treo 650 with the 1.12 update.
