Nope, sorry, I don't have a good answer. Maybe the intention is to allow
you to stop sending a lot of events, for example if you like to add the
repeat functionality on your own (like , nil-event and check if the
button is still pressed). But I don't know why one would use a repeat
button, if he doesn't want to get the repeat events.
