Perhaps. I am not very familiar with the P2P sharing scene - is Palm software often distributed this way? And we again have the popularity factor - what percentage of the people who get software from the P2P networks are Palm OS users? If they are very few, malware distributed this way is unlikely to have significant impact. Anyway - I didn't say that the threat is non-exitent (a mistake that many people who think themselves familiar with the Palm devices often make). I only said that it is minimal and that the current software distribution model for these devices isn't very friendly to malware distribution.
