Hi ,
I am getting the following message when I tried to compile a sample app
from the net:
"Cannot find PilRC Compiler Adapter".
I do have the PilRC.dll tool putin under the plugins folder on my Code
Warrior Installation. As far as I have read , this dll is a plugin for Code
warrior that helps to recreate a .rsrc file from a .rcp file. (Correct me
if I'm wrong!).
I'm using Palm OS 5 SDK.
Are you using V8 or V9 of the CW tools?
There are two different PilRC compiler plugins for CodeWarrior. In V8, it
shipped with a .rcp-to-.r tool that worked with the Mac OS 68K linker, but
in V9 we changed to using a tool that directly ran the PilRC compiler that
works with the Palm OS 68K linker.
The PilRC.dll tool is the older converter plugin. It looks like this
project needs the newer compiler which is PilRCAdapter.dll and ships in
V9. You might be able to get away with just going into the "File Mappings"
panel for the project and hitting the "Factory Settings" button,
reassociating .rcp file with the older adapter.
