It would be possible if you ignore appStopEvents. Then, the only way out would be a soft reset. You could then respond to the just reset launch code by launching your app. Then the only way out would be a warm or hard reset. If you assigned your app to all the hard buttons, the home button, and the favorite button (simply by setting the system prefs), you could then prevent the user from leaving the prefs app on a warm reset.
