To give directions, you need to know not only where you are going, but also where you are starting. You've given us the destination but not your background. You will need: An understanding of basic programming concepts - loops, conditions, memory use, variables, etc. An understanding of object oriented/event driven programming - understanding the concept of events, event loops, structures and properties. An understanding of how C/C++ is applied to the above. Now, the Palm specific stuff: PODS is a great tool, and the online manuals are great reference material, along with the code examples, but they don't quite get you there. I am also using Foster's Professional Palm OS Programming to get me started, and can recommend the book.
