The error message was bogus and never appeared again after deleting and reinstalling. After re-installing, everything worked as expected including the RS-232 communications. The $29.95 reconditioned Palm IIIxe performed as well as the more expensive Palm's. I've seen this happen before. A program has a fatal error and the solution is to delete and re-install the program. Does anyone know why this happens? -- For information on using the PalmSource Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
