The LifeDrive uses a new USB chip to support USB 2.0, and it looks like the software around that has broken USB debugging to the device. I tried a few things tonight, but I wasn't able to get anything working. It might work using the USB-to-TCP bridge code, setting up the device to act like a POSE session... I wrote about that at Combee on Palm OS at http://palmos.combee.net/blog/USBDebuggingfromgdbonWin3.html.

Hi,

Anyone succeed in device debugging on Lifedrive?

According to this thread from 2 months ago, Ben points that Lifedrive does not support usual USB device debugging.

I'm trying this tcp-usb bridge on Lifedrive

http://palmos.combee.net/blog/USBDebuggingfromgdbonWin3.html

but apparently It is GDB oriented and I'm using Codewarrior 9.3. CW connects to the bridge but an error occurs and the debug operation is aborted.

I could not continue the tests as the tcp-usb solution conflicts with my Bluetooth mouse/keyboard.

Anyone succeed?

thanks
