Supporting five-way on the T5 and 650 includes supporting "one-handed
navigation" and focus rings.
By the way, if you support this properly, you should find your primary
task becomes a lot easier!
There are legitimate applications that shouldn't use the one-handed
navigation. Zap! 2016 for example, would really suck on the Treo 650 if
you had to select up, down, left, right, and shoot buttons on the bottom of
the screen using focus controls. :)
