Hi,
Reading the "5-way navigator handling" i just got very confused.
I don't want to use forms, all i want is to get the event on all devices.
So, will the macros on PalmChars.h work for the new devices (T5, Treo, etc)?
Read my KB article to talk about the different navigation schemes. I just
posted on this a couple of days ago.
I'd recommend that your VM handle all of the non vchrRocker key codes and
repost those to the event queue as vchrRocker codes. That would mean that
the user apps would only have to deal with one kind of direction
character. The main schemes in use are
PalmOne navigation keys (Palm Tungsten T, T2, T3, C, E; Palm Zire 71, 72,
31; GSPDA phones)
PalmSource rocker chars (Treo 600/650, Palm T5, E2, LifeDrive, Tapwave Zodiac)
Sony jog dial and left/right keys
