Well I figured out what the problem was. It seems that CodeWarrior will only allow me to debug the sound callback function or the main program....not both. So perhaps the serial link (Socket) error that I was receiving was being caused because there was no communication between the debugger and the sound manager? Haven't tried to debug this on PODS so it might only be a CodeWarrior issue.
