Yes I 've done it on a Tungsten D (which I assume
is pretty close). It only takes one dot, so you write lower case L, dot, 2,
and it's in debug mode. At this point it will appear locked up to the outside
world, and can only be reset or talked to via the USB or com
port.

Subject: Remote Debugging on Tungsten
E2
Hi,
I'm trying to
remote debug on a Tungsten E2, using CW 9.3. I did remote debug previously
on other devices, but now I cannot connect to the E2: when trying to
debug CW says "place the device in console mode ....".
I tried
DotDotTwo and apparently the device is in console mode (cannot hotsync
because the port is taken), although I cannot see a blinking dot on
screen...
Has anybody
tried remote debug on E2?
Thanks!
Sebastian
BTW: I could not
set up console mode by using the down button...the E2 never restarted after
the reset, so I had to re-reset...
