Alas, non-US members of this key Palm OS developer community are not
eligible to run for this award, the rewards or the recognition. Did anyone
say "global economy"?
Yes, but contests tend to be governed by lots of rules, making it difficult
to legally run a contest that crosses country boundaries. When I was with
PalmSource in late 2004, we were going to do a developer contest at the
Euro DevCon, but the laws in Germany were too restrictive, so we ended up
cancelling it.
