Eduardo,

Please keep it polite and informative. Attack the message not the people.

I am an experienced programmer and I do OK at it, thank you very much, but I
earn my money "making so wonderfull and well programmed apps". I will research
and learn and do nasty hacky stuff to make my apps work, but I do not get paid
to fix IDEs. The fact is that the main development system for Palm OS is broken
and the people who can fix it best and easiest ( I believe that not all of PODS
is Open Source ) - and are paid to do that - will not fix it, for some reason
as yet unknown. That means that Palm OS programming is harder, which means
fewer people will develop fewer apps for Palm OS, which means that Palm OS will
be less popular, which will cost us professional Palm OS programmers. So we all
have a vested interest in making Palm OS programming as painless as possible
and I do not think PalmSource are doing enough to that end, hence my complaint.

Finally, I find it a "bigger shame" that you misname other peoples' polite (
although grossly off-topic ) discussion "flames". That is a term with a
specific meaning, which yet another a web search should make clear, and your
message was the only real flame I have seen in this thread to date.

R.
