Hi, ridiculously, my Tungsten E2 shows a hidden VFS volume mounted in RAM when you use FileZ and set it up to show hidden volumes as well.
I can darkly remember having read about something similar on the Treo 650, because the camera application is said to store all of its stuff there! You can check that easily: make a photo. Then, check if a file with the name of the photo exists in RAM using FileZ! Best regards Tam Hanna Tamoggemon Software Subject: Re: no card on Treo 650 .. where is VFS? The VFS is only for memory cards (or an internal memory card volume such as on the T5). The RAM storage in a device does not support any file system, including the Virtual File System. Use must use the Data Manager. Likewise, external memory cards do not support the Data Manager (calls beginning with Dm...) but must be accessed via the VFS calls. In addition, don't be confused by the fact the Dm...() calls take a "card number" argument. With the exception of the Handspring Visor line, I don't believe any other device ever supported anything but 0 for this value. It has nothing to do with external memory cards.
