Hi All,

I have a requirement to send about 60 packets/second (TCP) to a server. But the best I can get is only 40-43 packets out/second. I benchmarked on the performance of NetLibSend on Tungsten T3, using Bluetooth.

The test program is a simple while (true) loop with sends 24 bytes out.

My application is a real-time medical processing unit which is required to update an imaging server (which renders the data transmitted from the palm) continuously. I am required to send 60 packets/sec to plot a graph – when I send less data the results are faulty. (55 packets/second is acceptable).

1] Any one has success in sending 55+ packets/ second? If yes can u share your experience on how you achieved it?

2] Is there any limitation on the number of NetLibSends/ second on Palm devices / the Bluetooth connection?

I tried to send UDP packets out as well – that too gave the same performance.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

TIA.

Regards,

G. Kalyana Sundaram
