You did the right thing by compiling using 68k architecture as your
target. Palm devices run Garnet, not Cobalt, and although they have
RISC processors, generally emulate the 68k CPUs for compatibility with
the existing software base.
You can use PNOs if you need parts of your code to run native on the
RISC CPU.
