Palm Vx and POL

Is there any reason why a program written in POL wouldn't work on a Palm Vx? 
I've got a program that worked fine until I ported it to POL.  Now the new 
version causes fatal exceptions on a customer's Vx.  He downgraded to the 
prior version and the errors disappeared.  I've checked all the project 
settings and they're all identical.
