That depends on how it would be done. I guess if I build a VFS driver then it would not overload the OS. I have done it on PPC fine. I hoping to find a way to do it for Palm OS.

Any body have an idea ?

I think that even if you managed to accomplish that, it would make the device slow down A LOT.

Hi Everyone, I would be grateful if someone can help me with my development task on Palm OS.

I need to intercept between the operating system and the databases stored on the device. So that whenever Palm OS read or write to a data store I can run my code on the data read or wrote.

Is that possible? Anyone know a hint of how to start? Is it by building a VFS driver?

Notes;
* I need to support from Palm v.3.5 and up.
* I use PODS as my IDE and a Palm TX PDA for testing.
* I have seen the sample code that builds a VFS driver to map a folder on desktop machine as a volume on Palm emulator. I couldn't build it for PODS as the code was written for CodeWarrior IDE.

Thank you very much for your time and help.
Tamer.
