Ok, I see. Just out of curiosity, how come Palm has not developed (or worked
with others, such as Dimitry) a utility to allow the user to set a custom
amount of dynamic heap (with the minimum being the default value allocated
by the OS, i.e 4 MB on the T|X)? That way gamers or heavy multimedia people
could set it higher, and the average user would not need to adjust it.

Providing such would be nice because developers of a program that knew the
app needed tons of dynamic heap (to be called "heap" from now on) could
adjust it themselves (and of course the application/system would limit it to
the maximum available storage memory) and then reset it on application exit.

Just a thought.
