I mean, I don't think it can run Palm OS apps, or can it? I'm kinda confused now.

POSE would probably report itself as 68k.
you refer to PalmSim (OS5+) - when you can actually use a cpu check
like that. in regards to the Treo 700w - unless they have pulled of magic;
it still has an ARM cpu - so, it'll be reported as 'arm' (not x86).
you probably have nothing to worry about :)
