Sasha, Z22 is a very, very, very bad product. Doesn't have network (but You can install a fix to adjust this) and the infra doesn't work with many hardwares :-( NVFS it's a new idea, and have to be maturated... But it's a good thing. I don't know the future of Palm OS after Access. Access what You're doing with Palm OS??? Regis Sasha Trukhny wrote: Hi All. It seems that Palm OS is dieing. Now only one main producer of PalmOS devices - PalmOne (Palm). All its new devices have many problems and are aimed for the home usage. And not for professional use.If I'm mistaken please reply me. Some problems what I have with new devices: - Zire 22 1. It can't access to TCP/IP network. It hasn't Network category in Prefs app at all. - Tungsten E2 1. It has very many bugs with NVFS. After reset sometimes some dbs are disappeared or corrupted. It can be solved with DmSyncDatabase function inserting after db changing. But perfomance became too little. 2. SDIO slot can't emulate Serial interface. So, many third-party SD devices (e.g. SD Barcode scanners) don't work with TE2. I haven't big expereance with devices Tungsten TX and Treo 650. And I don't sure that this devices haven't big problems. Our company have written many Palm OS applications. But it seems that we go to develop with Pocket PC in future. Thanks for any feedback.
