Good clue ! I dont have "Link Single Segment" checked on. But I have "Merge
Compiler Glue into Segment 1" checked on. Probably checking this off may
solve the case, but what exactly does the option do ?

My MW project has 12 segments. In segment tab First segment [named
Segment 1] shows 15k in code and 794 in data. None of the pther segments
are bigger than 64k either. But when I build sometimes it shows "Segment
'Segment 1' is greater than 64000 bytes. It will generate an invalid PRC
file" and "Resource type 'code', ID 1, exceeds 64000 bytes, This can
produce a PRC file that connot be transferred to a device."
Make shure you don't have the "Link Single Segment" option checked in the
Linker Settings
