Occasionally on my TX I have a weird problem with an app I'm developing (mySkin/myKbd in its latest version, which includes registration for 'hede' for a bunch of ARM code, and lots of other undocumented stuff). I was wondering if anybody else encountered this problem and what kind of a thing could cause it. The problem is that the app simply disappears from my PDA from time to time. It sometimes does this on a crash, even a crash not caused by it. It sometimes does this on soft-reset. And last night I left my PDA overnight turned off with Blazer stuck on something, turned it on in the morning and the app was gone.
It could be a bug in the app. It could be some weird NVFS problem. I am curious if anybody has run across such a thing before. The app doesn't protect its main database at all because its main notification handler gets copies into the dynamic heap.
