There are many types of parsers. Mostly, it dependes on what you want to be able to do and how you want the data returned back to you.
I use a version of libhtmlparse 0.1.x that I ported, although it appears that the site no longer exists :( There are a few out there. The FlippinBits Wiki is a good place to start.
