Here is a complete HB++ sample that retrieves the 'own number'. It comes with some extra declarations to check the device type, if the radio module is powered, and so on...There is also some extra functions (to send SMS, change the keyguard status) that you may find convenient if you play with Treos. It's not a C sample, but APIs used are the same.
