Stefan,
I'm looking into this so I can see why it works fine for me, but not for
you guys.
1. What baud rate are you using?
2. Are you sending as well as receiving bytes in Raw IR?
3. Do you open and close the port on a regular basis or keep it open all
the time?
Regards
John

Subject: Re: Treo 650 Raw IR

Hello,

I have the same situation on my treo 650, but only since I updatet to
firmeware 1.20 ENA. With the version 1.13 ROW it works ok.

I wil also be happy if someone has a solution to solve the problem.

Regards

  Stefan

with the Treo and Zire 72 is that the first character I receive is
garbaged up. If I send 123, then pause for a second then 567, the Treo
receives, %23
#67 (where % and # are random 8 bit hex chars). The first character is
always garbage. If I send continuously to the Treo all the data seems
to be ok. Any delay between characters and I get a garbage character in
place of the first character I should receive.

with no problems. The Palm models we normally use are the 500 series,
the Symbol 1800, and the Meazura.
