LifeDrive and network latency

Hi,   We are developing a VoIP solution for palm – ‘mobiVoIP’. When used over other devices like Treo 650, T3, T5, E2, TC the application is able to receive data with a latency of .5 – 1 second – but when used with LifeDrive (Bt/WiFi) the latency is between 1- 2 seconds – is this common to all network applications on LifeDrive?   I was suspecting the issue might be due to 1] The fast processor of LifeDrive (and we miss to fill proper buffers – but even in that case the delay should be around 1 second and not more than that) or 2] Is LifeDrive doing some operation with its hard-disk during the SysHandleEvent?   Any help in this regards is appreciated.   Regards, G.
