Thanks Ben for the hint -- I tried compiling without exceptions and that still hasn't reduced the size very much. I've added up the code in the .text section, and it comes to around 25K. I'm thinking that the C++ runtime support brings the total over the limit of 32K. Does anyone know how much room the C++ runtime support takes in the .text section (and thus how much more I have to massage my code to make everything fit)?
