I finally got an OS 5 device (a TX) so I can test my app. I have a strange
crash when exiting the program. I have CodeWarrior 8.3 on Windows and found out
you cannot debug on an OS 5 device with CW 8.3. So I'm trying to find ways to
debug it w/out buying CW 9.

I've read about DebugPrefs here and installed it, but it doesn't seem to be
working. It just reports the same error every time :

"A crash occurred on 5/8/06 at 4:20 pm while running '<unknown application>':

Fatal Exception"

I think the timestamp there was the first time it caught an error, and it has
never updated it, even though I've reproduced my error on my app several times.
I read in another thread that you have to hit the '68k dbg' button to enable
68k debugging. I've done that and then reproduced my app's crash, and still the
log message hasn't changed.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, what is the PalmDebugger program? There was a reference to that in
another thread here, made it sound like it was integrated with DebugPrefs, but
that you have to connect your device through the serial port to do that. I only
have a USB connection.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
