Actually, the ABI isn't perfect between the tools.  C++ likely won't
link and I wouldn't assume anything about floating point or structure
returns.

So, the ARM ABI specification doesn't have the grey areas of the 68k ,
so you can always call  FlpAToF() instead of FlpBufferAToF()?

And I would note that all the object files need to be compiled with the
same structure packing and the same size for enums.
