i have same problem on updated tungsten t5. databases disappear after reset.
sometimes even application (i lost builtin wordtogo once)

some time ago i found somewhere that problem can be that because of crash while
working with files internal volume may get corrupted.

to meit helped a lot to use dbcachetooland set it completely paranoically to
free dbcache alway when i want to start application and if freeblockis <8mb. now
my t5 is extremely slow on switching applications (because this clearing takes a
lot of time) but it is much more stable
