Hello,
Dmitry:
ok then you can temporarily disable NVFS by unmounting and then
remounting the volume. then it doe snot get out of sync.
Won't unmounting NVFS create additional problems? (Also I not familiar with
unmounting NVFS - your help in this regard is really appreciated)
And this issue seems like common for many applications that read databases in
the constructors of their global variables (makes users stare White screen for
atleast 10 seconds)
But some applications that had this problem had fixed it now - may be the
developers can share their thoughts on it.
Ben:
I've not commented because I don't have any information on this issue
-- I didn't work on the 700p.
I meant no offence there - I was just making a comment on the Palm Employees
(may be you can take it as the Treo 700p team) but not any particular
person. I
only used your other comments on chages in NVFS Caching on MemHandle** for
reference.
Thanks for all who are helping me in resolving this issue. Be intimated the
results of this thread could be useful to many developers to get their
application Treo 700p compatibe. I even get some personal mails from fellow
developers on my attempts to sove this issue. Thanks for all.
Regards,
G. Kalyana Sundaram.
