John, >I have found Falch Net Dev on win98. >How can i transfer this to my laptop running XP.
Falch has been unsupported for years now. Why don't you try PODS instead? On your post from 6/10 it seemed like you didn't own a copy, so one could presume the copy you "found" on win98 was not licensed to you. >I did try memory stick, but with out any luck. Did you copy the installer or just the program directories? You really should go through the installer so it can install and configure Cygwin and perform other steps needed to make it work (such as changing the path environment, etc). Not to mention the license key issues. At best, if you didn't use the installer you'd have multiple folder structures to copy, lots of registry entries, and who knows what DLLs may be needed in the windows system directory which may or may not already be on your laptop. I wouldn't bother trying without the installer, unless you know a fair amount about the registry. And if you have the installer, you will also need a license key. >Appreciate any sugestions. Try PODS? It's free, and if you have install / setup problems there is a forum where you can ask questions...
