the program is Strip1.0 a (sycurity to reccall important password),
but symlink it means that I have to edit the configure and when it call mutigen iI have to write
m68k-palmos-multigen ?

Must be a very old program.
In the current version of prc-tools (2.3, released Sep 2003) it is
m68k-palmos-multigen.
Just make a symlink from multigen to m68k-palmos-multigen to work around
the problem.

P.S.Just curious, which program do you try to recompile?
E.g. the just released version of EasyCalc (1.23) uses configure but
checks for both multigen and m68k-palmos-multigen.
