I have function SysUIAppSwitch with sysAppLaunchCmdSyncRequestLocal parameter to start HotSync from within my application. But when I try to synchronize the HotSync seems to start, the sync window on the desktop shows "Connecting to handheld" and just hangs (it doesn't even get to the point where the user is identified) and in about 15 seconds it disappeares.
Here is how it works: The process starts on the palm but it does not make the sync noise, the process starts on the workstation but it does not show the the palm user, the workstation process terminates by itself and the palm process continues: it does not stop even it you cancel it. You must reset the palm to stop it. If you reset prior to syncing the process works fine. Has anyone had this trouble?
